My Life in Dancing

Some people skate through life… I dance through my life as though it is free

My life today is what I love to refer to as a great mess!

Great because I’m just beyond blessed, a mess because well, I am and will always be a work in progress!

I began interpretive ballroom dance a little over five years ago and it is one of my forms of personal Therapy.

Finding dance is what helped me to find and learn to love myself in my own skin.

Volunteering is like dancing to me because it brings me much joy and it has also been a magnificent part of my healing process.

Volunteering took an angry and broken young lady and turned her in to a confident, strong, bold and determined woman who strives to use her life to help others understand that they are not alone and it is not weakness,

but strength to ask for help.

In my heart,

my life is me living and loving me,

my family,

giving to help others

and

dancing like nobody is watching!
